Day 2: Kigali City Tour – A Story of Resilience

Today is dedicated to exploring Kigali’s vibrant culture and sobering history. You’ll visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful tribute to Rwanda’s past, followed by the colorful Kimironko Market and Inema Arts Center. The day closes with a drive through scenic hills as you head northwest to Musanze, gateway to the Volcanoes.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

An early breakfast precedes your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing, you’ll hike through lush rainforest to encounter a habituated gorilla family in their natural habitat. The intimate hour you spend with them is profoundly moving and awe-inspiring. Later, return to relax and reflect.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking & Community Encounters

This morning, you’ll track playful golden monkeys—rare primates found only in this region. Their agility and curiosity make for exciting photography opportunities. Day 5: Scenic Drive to Lake Kivu – Relaxation on the Shore

Day 6: Lake Kivu to Kigali – Leisure and Return
